When people ask us, “How do you differentiate with other players on the market?“, we like to introduce ourselves with just 2 key messages:

First of all, we focus 100% on investment management.
We have only one core-activity and that is investment management, for private clients and for institutional clients. This is a very important difference with almost all other financial institutions, that operate a whole set of activities, often close to investment management. Think about investment banking, corporate finance or brokerage of financial instruments. We don’t have to waste energy monitoring all kinds of possible conflicts of interest, that inevitably need to be addressed when you are active in all those closely related activities.

Secondly, we apply a clear & consistent investment philosophy, which is called Value Investing: Essentially it means that we buy undervalued investments, and let time do its work to make the undervaluation disappear. This can only be achieved if you are not constrained by the terror of benchmarks. Value Investing has the ambition to differentiate between good investments and bad investments. As such, we are active, unconstrained, non-benchmark investors.
