As you are certainly aware, the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) will be implemented across countries of the European Union (EU) on November 1st 2007. MiFID seeks to enhance the ability of EU regulated firms to provide investment services across EU borders by creating a level playing field through the harmonisation of the conduct of business rules that apply to such firms.
